Beacon EmbeddedWorks Acquires Diamond Technologies

Beacon EmbeddedWorks, has declared the acquisition of Diamond Technologies, Inc. (DTI), a leading developer of tailored solutions for data collecting, automation, and industrial communications.
 
Beacon EmbeddedWorks (Beacon) has been providing innovative System-on-Modules (SOMs) and embedded products to critical applications and regulated industries for over 20 years. This has allowed customers to launch their devices more quickly and with less risk. DTI is joining the Beacon cluster of US-based embedded technology companies with their complementary technology.
 
Beacon and DTI will collaborate on the aim of developing sophisticated embedded technologies and solutions for regulated and industrial customers, as well as providing unrivaled service and support. The combination of engineering knowledge brought by each company will speed up the creation of new and creative embedded products for the market, as well as offer up new growth potential.
 
Beacon EmbeddedWorks will maintain its legacy of producing innovative SOMs and offering unparalleled customer support, while now incorporating DTI's full-service design and engineering solutions for barcode reading, machine vision, RFID, and industrial communications. DTI's extensive embedded industry experience, as well as its strategic position in the Northeast technology corridor, will help Beacon expand its product line and gain access to key new clients and applications.
