The Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) consented a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) in New Delhi to make an environment for human resource development in High-Performance Computing (HPC) and allied regions.

Master Trainer Programs, Quality Improvement Programs, and courses on the Ministry of Education's SWAYAM platform are among the main activities covered by this MoA, according to a press release from the Ministry of Electronics & IT. HPC is the capacity to process data and carry out intricate calculations at high speeds.

The projects expect to upgrade teaching abilities in HPC, adjust HPC-related courses with industry needs, and offer C-DAC's HPC learning platforms like PARAM Shavak and PARAM Vidya through AICTE to nominated organizations. The MoA looks to drive sustainable human resource development, encourage advancement, and meet the developing requirements of the HPC industry and academia.

Shri S. Krishnan emphasized that the National Supercomputing Mission (NSM)'s HPC-aware manpower development activity will now reach a broader audience in engineering colleges all over the country, enhancing technical workforce capabilities related to HPC.

Prof. T. G. Sitharam featured that this drive lines up with the objectives of the National Supercomputing Mission and the vision of NEP 2020, guaranteeing India's technical education system stays at the front of global advancements.
