More than 1,100 Chinese businesses attend the world's largest electronics display, CES (Consumer Electronics Show), virtually doubling the number from last year, as they continue their worldwide expansion efforts following the pandemic.

The 2024 Consumer Electronics Show opened in Las Vegas, with a focus on generative AI, MR (mixed reality), and smart and autonomous driving, as per CCTV+.

The biennial technology show attracts over 130,000 visitors and 4,000 exhibitors from over 150 nations and regions. Over 1,100 Chinese mainland firms attend the expo, impressing attendees with cutting-edge technology.

Lenovo has equipped laptops with a number of accessory modules such as selfie filling lights and 4K high-definition cameras, as well as boosted network speed, while TCL and Hisense are advertising large-size Mini LED TVs.

On the opening day of the event, innovative items in the fields of energy conservation and environmental protection drew a large crowd. A SMG reporter discovered a unique electric motorcycle at the venue.

The designer is creative in placing its ring-shaped motor in the rear wheel, which not only balances the center of gravity but also improves mobility. The motorcycle's peak speed is 200 km/h.

The first CES took place in 1967 in New York City, with 250 exhibitors and 17,500 guests. Since then, CES has been recognized as the world's most powerful technology show, serving as a barometer of electronics consumption.
