Data Center Power Market is Projected To Touch Worth $27 Billion by 2028

Power infrastructure suppliers are engaged in fierce rivalry for the data center power industry. The top players on the market are ABB, Eaton, Caterpillar, Cummins, Legrand, Schneider Electric, Siemens, Rolls-Royce, and Vertiv. Cummins and Caterpillar are both major players in the generator business. Operators are thinking about replacing old diesel generators and UPS systems with natural gas, hydrogen fuel cell generators, Lithium-ion batteries, and intelligent PDUs to increase the efficiency of their facilities in response to rising demand for sustainability. Power solution providers are developing their products to deliver the highest efficiency and dependability as the industry becomes highly competitive.
Vendors are creating devices that can save OPEX by up to 50% in response to the various demands of data center operators. Vendors that can meet the evolving needs of operators have been able to gain a larger market share. Leading manufacturers of UPS systems and generators should think about incorporating fuel deployment knowledge into their product line, either as a stand-alone option or in conjunction with suppliers of small-scale fuel cells. Additionally, the market need will change when OCP-based infrastructure design is deployed more widely.
