GenAI, Deep Tech, and Quantum Computing to Create 1 Million Jobs by 2030

The revolutionary technologies like Generative AI, Deep Tech, and Quantum Computing will generate more than a million job opportunities by 2030, as per Quess Corp report . The report showed that during the Sept quarter, there was a 71% increase in demand for talent in Global Capability Centres (GCCs) and a 58% increase in demand for cybersecurity nationwide.
A report released on Wednesday predicts a 10-12% increase in IT services employment over the next six months due to the fast-paced advancement of technology, which is transforming industries and economies globally.
This report analyzes the changing tech hiring demand and provides insights based on data from the first two quarters of FY25 from Quess IT Staffing operations, giving leaders a clear picture of the talent market. India is leading the digital revolution with its growing pool of tech talent and innovative mindset. Quess IT Staffing CEO Kapil Joshi stated that the hiring of IT services will increase by 10-12% in the upcoming 6 months.
The IT Staffing Quarterly Digital Skills Report Q2 FY25 showed that 79% of the total demand came from the top five skill categories: development, ERP, testing, networking, and data science. There was a significant rise in specialized roles and skills connected to Java (30%), cybersecurity (20%), and DevOps (25%) during Q1 and Q2, in addition to functional skill suites.
In the second quarter, there was a noticeable increase of 37% in technology talent demand among numerous IT Services companies, according to the report.
