HCLTech and Arm Partner to Work on Custom Silicon Chips for AI-led biz

The IT Firm stated that the agreement will allow semiconductor manufacturers, system OEMs (original equipment manufacturers), and cloud service providers to improve the computing efficiency of their data center environments.
"HCLTech's collaboration with Arm will contribute to the development of industry-leading custom AI silicon solutions that will revolutionize the way AI workloads are addressed in data centre environments," said Ameer Saithu, Executive Vice President, Engineering and R&D Services, HCLTech.
HCLTech said it will use Arm Neoverse Compute Subsystems (CSS) to assist clients in reducing development risks and delivering unique, market-customized solutions aimed at improving performance and scalability for AI workloads.
HCL Technologies Limited, also known as HCLTech, is an Indian multinational information technology (IT) consulting firm located in Noida. Shiv Nadar founded it, and it was spun out in 1991 when HCL expanded into the software services market. The corporation has offices in 52 countries and employs about 225,944 people.
Arm Holdings plc is a British semiconductor and software design firm situated in Cambridge, England. Its major activity is to build central processing unit (CPU) cores that implement the ARM architecture family of instructions.
