The global AI chip market is expected to average a compounded growth rate of 38% annually from 2023 to 2032, Wipro added in the filing. The collaboration between Wipro and Intel Foundry is designed to address the rising demand for AI chip manufacturing as companies race to roll out generative AI-enabled products, as per ET.
"This new collaboration with Intel Foundry marks a significant step towards becoming a part of the semiconductor industry. This creates opportunities for Wipro and supports chip supply and chip manufacturing. Together, with Intel, we will deliver silicon devices to our clients with proven industry-standard flows and process technologies from Intel Foundry. We will be targeting new startup markets, especially in the Gen AI space, helping our clients further shorten the time to market," said Atul Kapur, vice president and business head for HiTech at Wipro.
Wipro's design services will be matched with Intel Foundry's assembling abilities to empower clients, particularly across weighty businesses, for example, car, modern, and media communications areas, to use Gen artificial intelligence driven plans and foundry administrations to drive progressing development.
Wipro has made a $1 billion interest in the AI360 biological system which will be joined with the organization with Intel on AI driven chip manufacturing. The organization will upgrade an opportunity to-showcase and acquire critical advantages to clients plan confirmation, and actual plan, it further said.
