Meta has collaborated with PwC India to expand open-source AI solutions in different sectors, using Meta's Llama models, as professional services companies quickly enhance AI capabilities to satisfy client needs. The partnership seeks to promote the extensive adoption of Generative AI (GenAI) in corporate and government sectors, establishing India as a frontrunner in digital advancements.

Sanjeev Krishan, Chairperson of PwC India, said, “With Llama Models, we see a unique opportunity to democratise this technology across industries and drive innovation while solving real-world challenges. Together, we aspire to create a more digitally enabled future for our clients and our communities—to create value and drive meaningful change at scale.”

This is happening as the Indian government works to establish a strong AI ecosystem through the IndiaAI Mission.

The partnership will help PwC and Meta create high-quality GenAI solutions for businesses by combining Meta's technology with PwC's industry knowledge. The alliance aims to provide advanced AI-based solutions to a wide range of companies, enhancing productivity and creativity.

“Gen AI solutions, including Llama, are poised to revolutionise India's businesses and accelerate the country's digital transformation journey. By harnessing the power of natural language understanding and generation, Llama can unlock new efficiencies, enhance customer experiences, and drive data-driven decision-making,” said Sandhya Devanathan, Vice President and Head of Meta India.

PwC India's GenAI Lab will also contribute to the progress of AI-driven solutions, enhancing the firm's ability to offer customized GenAI services that are secure and scalable to the Indian market.
