Telcos often struggle with managing their network efficiently due to a lack of proper tools and technology. They usually rely on manual processes to address these challenges. However, adding Atrinet’s NetACE network discovery and activation capabilities to the Now platform will provide stronger connectivity for telcos' workflows and greater alignment across their vast networks. This will help them from initial sales to activating and assuring a service. These new capabilities will accelerate ServiceNow’s roadmap for telcos, supporting its Telecom Network Inventory and Order Management products. It's a significant step toward providing closed-loop automation for telecommunications networks.
"The power of ServiceNow is its ability to connect the entire telecommunications stack on a single platform," said Rohit Batra, general manager, telecom, media, and technology industries at ServiceNow. "By adding Atrinet’s discovery and activation capabilities into our Telecom industry products, we're helping service providers manage the entire network lifecycle—driving productivity up and costs down."
The firm recently acquired Atrinet NetACE, a cloud-native product suite that provides a low-code approach to automating all telcos discovery, provisioning, and network management processes under an open, unified management system. This acquisition demonstrates ServiceNow's commitment to developing comprehensive, industry-specific solutions that help customers increase productivity, drive efficiency, and accelerate business transformation. By integrating Atrinet NetACE into its platform, ServiceNow enables telcos to manage critical network processes such as discovery, activation, field service, incident management, and workflow initiation, all from a single platform.
