
Tata Motors and HPCL Partner To Install EV charging stations

The partnership will use HPCL's broad fuel station network and TPEM's experiences from over 1.2 lakh Tata EVs on Indian streets to set up chargers in areas that Tata EV proprietors often visit. Furthermore, HPCL will assemble knowledge on charger utilization to develop the customer experience further.
The arrangement between TPEM and HPCL plans to investigate collaborations between the two organizations to urge more individuals to take on electric vehicles nationwide. The organization added that the two organizations are likewise investigating the presentation of a convenient payment framework through a co-marked RFID card, which will make the charging experience uncomplicated.
While TPEM orders a piece of the share of more than 68% in electric traveler vehicles, HPCL brags a cross-country network of 21,500 fuel stations and is focused on a supportable future, it added. Moreover, HPCL expects to introduce 5,000 electric vehicle charging stations by December 2024. With four items in its portfolio, TPEM has driven the nation's ascent of the EV ecosystem. On the other hand, HPCL has introduced 3,050 EV charging stations across the country, including battery swapping stations.
