TomTom Ink Pact with Microsoft To Offer Location Technology

The revised deal demonstrates the joint dedication of TomTom and Microsoft to providing advanced location technology to both businesses and consumers. TomTom enhances Azure Maps, allowing businesses and developers to integrate advanced mapping and location features into a variety of solutions, from spatial analytics to IoT and asset tracking, using the Azure cloud platform. TomTom's location technology is utilized in Microsoft's own products as well. Bing, Microsoft Power BI, Microsoft 365, and other products rely on TomTom’s maps and services for their location-based functions due to the use of AI technology.
TomTom and Microsoft will work together on product innovation by combining Microsoft's expertise in AI with TomTom's vast experience in location technology to create AI-driven solutions for automotive, logistics, and mobility sectors, thus enhancing their joint success. The companies will work together to pursue market strategies, assist customers to succeed, and provide expert advice.
